The Community
The Ronald McDonald House is a gift from the Maryland community. It reflects the very best of who we are and what we have to share.
We count on a wide range of community groups whose cumulative efforts directly empower our work. They express their desire to help our children in a myriad of ways, from recycling pull-tabs for us to pulling rabbits from hats
and everything in between.
In June of 2004, a great dream came true for the children (and staff!) of the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House. This month marked the opening of a brand-new, wheelchair-accessible playground behind our House. It is a testament to the generosity of this community that all of the funding for our magnificent new playground was secured by the day of its official opening.

Those who built our playground:
Aaron Straus and Lillie Straus Foundation, Inc.
