Helpful Hints for Hosting an Activity Hour in our Home

  • Activity hours begin at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
  • Groups can arrive whenever they need to in order to be ready for their activity hour by 7:30 p.m.
  • There should be no more than 8 people hosting an activity hour on any given night
  • Groups are encouraged to be creative and bring new activities to the House.
  • Our House is inter-denominational. Therefore, no religious overtone or inference can be used or made in our Home.
  • Children under the age of 16 must stay with their parents at all times.
  • Groups are responsible for the clean-up and return of any supplies used in the activity hour.
  • If there are any concerns about a child or the lack of supervision of a child; please report it to the front desk immediately.
  • The entire downstairs and kitchen areas can be used by the groups in order to host their activity.
  • Our respite room has a volunteer closet with arts, crafts, games, and other items to be used for the activity hour. Volunteers are welcome to utilize this closet. Please see the evening manager before getting items out of the volunteer closet.
  • All confirmations for activity hour must be made no later than 48 hours before the event.
  • All cancellations should be made as early as possible, so we can properly notify the families.
